Partnership with Mercy Health Overcomes Barriers to Preventive Health Checks
Buckeye Health Plan (Buckeye) is proud to maintain a collaborative partnership with Mercy Health (Mercy). Together, we uncover and address concerns to keep our members, their patients, on track to receive the care and resources they need for healthy outcomes.
In late spring 2020, we found that the COVID-19 pandemic crisis, among other factors, kept members with chronic conditions from visiting their primary care physician (PCP) for their annual visit. Buckeye and Mercy Health developed an outreach plan to encourage members to complete their PCP visit. They pivoted to telemedicine to outreach the Buckeye members.
