Buckeye Health Plan MyCare-Ohio (Medicare-Medicaid Plan) change effective January 1, 2026

On January 1, 2026, the state of Ohio is transitioning all MyCare-Ohio (Medicare-Medicaid Plan) plans to exclusively aligned Dual-Eligible Special Needs Plans (D-SNPs).
Therefore, the Buckeye Health Plan (Medicare-Medicaid Plan) will change to a D-SNP named Wellcare Buckeye MyCare Ohio Dual Align (HMO D-SNP). The new plan coordinates care for those with both Medicare and Medicaid under one parent company.
No action is needed by members already enrolled in Buckeye Health Plan MyCare-Ohio (Medicare-Medicaid Plan). Members will receive a new ID card in the mail.
