CAHPS

CAHPS®

CAHPS® (Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems Survey)

CAHPS is an annual standardized member satisfaction survey that assesses members’ experiences with health plans, health care providers, and the services they have received. Consumers may use the survey results to compare the performance of health plans to aid them in choosing the best plan to meet their health care needs. CAHPS® surveys are sent to adult members and parents of child members. The results are collected and analyzed to track member satisfaction with the health plan, provider(s), and the care and services received. The survey helps Buckeye Health Plan identify opportunities for improvement.
