Know your risks

The most common chronic conditions in Ohio are heart disease, stroke, diabetes, kidney disease, respiratory diseases and different types of cancer.

The good news? You can take steps to lower your risks and manage your health:

  • Get your annual well visit to check on your health and catch problems early
  • Talk to your doctor if you feel worried or have new symptoms
  • Take your medicine as directed by your doctor
  • Make healthy choices like eating well, staying active, and avoiding smoking and too much alcohol
